Although at first glance photo scanning may seem like an easy task, when you have hundreds or even thousands of old photos to scan, it becomes a serious investment of time. Depending on your scanner it could literally take you days if not weeks in front of your computer scanning one photo after the next.

Photo: jeni rodger

Fortunately for such situations there are a number of photo scanning companies, such as Photobin, that will allow you to send boxes full of photos and they will scan them to disk and return them to you with the option to save to a photo sharing website, for remote storage.

Why scan your old photos you ask? and why would you want them saved at a remote location? The simple answer is, for most people, their old photos represent memories that if lost can never be replaced, and too many things can happen to take a chance with such valuable possesions. In an instant, a fire, flood, theft, or any number of tragedies could occur and your photos could be lost forever. By scanning and backing up you photos you ensure that your photos are safe.

In addition, old photos, no matter how much care is taken to protect them, tend to fade. Old photos also tend to have other issues such as scratches, discoloration and more. Scanning your photos can protect against these types of issues as well.

As you plan for your wedding day, you will endure a wide range of experiences, some of which you will be familiar with prior to this point. Young brides may have hired a caterer for a past function, or a florist for non-wedding arrangements, and so on. However, many brides have never sought to employ a photographer, particularly to document and capture what is to be one of the most important days of her life. Oh, and it is important to the groom, too.

Photo: viweddingphotos.com

So there can be a lot of pressure in this undertaking. (Minor understatement.)

Despite these concerns, hiring a wedding photographer can be a fun process (or, at the very least, less than stressful). Most importantly you need to focus on five distinct behaviors and characteristics of a photographer and her business.

1. Rapport

You will likely meet with more than one photographer, and in doing so you will learn a lot about the personality and interpersonal skills of the photographer. You may meet with one who acts like the stereotypical used car salesman, pushing you to sign on the dotted line while smiling and gazing inappropriately at your mother. You may speak with a photographer, only to find that she is virtually unable to engage in basic conversation, signifying her lack of social graces.

These are, of course, the extreme cases. You will, though, meet different personalities, and – like it or not – some personalities match you better than others. It is the way of human social interaction. The general rapport of the photographer will be absolutely crucial when it matters most – on the day you are married. Find a photographer who can hold a conversation, be pleasant, and still get the shots needed.

2. Style

You are hiring a photographer for one primary purpose – i.e., to take photographs at your wedding that you will like after your wedding day. You have to like the style of the photographer selected, be that traditional and posed, dramatic with a fashion flair, photojournalistic and contemporary, and so on. You are hiring an artist, and the art must be something that speaks to your aesthetic sense. This is, to my mind, the easiest element to determine. Look at the sample photos, and you may very well have the ‘A Ha’ moment.

3. Product

You aren’t looking for a photographer so you can later claim that you did indeed purchase the ‘Rose’ package, or whatever cute moniker they develop for their most expensive ‘plan.’ You are looking for photographs, usually actual photographs you can touch and show to your grandmother who doesn’t have a computer.

What I am getting at here is, you likely have an idea of what it is you want to HAVE – in your hands – after the wedding. That might be a DVD with high resolution photographs, it might be two hundred 4X6 prints, or an album. Whatever it is that you really want, you need to be sure that the photographer can produce, not only the item itself, but a QUALITY item. Albums vary incredibly in style and quality. Prints produced at your local big box outlet <a href="http://astore.amazon.com/prowpatareeya-store-20"target="_self"rel="nofollow"title="Prowpatareeya Store" >store are NOT the same as prints produced at professional photo printers. Be sure that you are comfortable with the photographer’s products.

4. Professionalism

Let’s say you set up an appointment with a photographer to talk about her services and she is twelve minutes late, uttering things like, “wow, traffic was bad,” or, “I had a hard time finding the place.” These statements might hold weight in ordinary events, but this is planning for your WEDDING DAY. Imagine that same photographer making the same statements after missing the beginning of your wedding. That is unacceptable.

Suppose that the photographer is on time to your meeting, but is wearing an Iron Maiden t-shirt proclaiming that the Dublin concert in 1984 really was a lot of fun. You can even like Iron Maiden and still find this dress less than professional.

You should expect, and indeed deserve, a professional photographer – one who exhibits the habits and behaviors of any business owner. The photographer will need to know their practice inside and out, and if you ask a question about their business and they seem flustered, then chances are incredible that YOU will be flustered while they are attempting to take pictures of you. Professional conduct applies in any business, and certainly no less so in photography.

5. True Gestalt

Psychologists might cringe at my use of the term ‘gestalt’ here, but what I am getting at is this:

You are hiring the complete photographer. They will be at your wedding day and play a prominent role. You have to like the whole package.

So 1-4 above – rapport, style, product, and professionalism – must come together in a confluence of all the other things about the photographer and yield a complete package that you can support. This is important because, it is certainly possible that a particular photographer will satisfy your requirements on elements 1-4, but fail in the gestalt overview. If it doesn’t all come together, walk away and keep looking.

When you are able to find a photographer with a rapport that matches your general demeanor, a style that calls to your artistic side, the products that will satisfy you and your loved ones, the professional characteristics necessary for conducting a good business, and the ‘gestalt’ nature demonstrating the whole package – you are done looking! Hire that photographer!

(As an aside, let me go out on a limb here and make radical claim – the <a href="http://astore.amazon.com/prowpatareeya-store-20"target="_self"rel="nofollow"title="Prowpatareeya Store" >price doesn’t really matter. This will rile some feathers, but give it some thought. If you are comfortable with the above 5 things to look for in a wedding photographer, what is the difference of $500 (or more)? In the overall scheme of things, this is a relatively small price to pay for a really great service. Unless, of course, you are planning to get married many more times. Then you should get your cousin’s friend to photograph the wedding who offered to do it for free since he just got his DSLR and would love to learn how to use it.)

This will all take some time, though some brides luck out and meet with the photographer they will hire on their first attempt. Don’t be discouraged if you have to meet with several, though, as the time spent now will be more than worth it on your wedding day.

As a result, the SP AF70-300mm F4-5.6 Di VC USD (Model A005) boasts sharper contrast and greater descriptive performance than all others in its class. In addition, it is the first Tamron lens sporting a USD (Ultrasonic Silent Drive), Tamron’s very own ultrasonic auto-focus drive mechanism. This USD mechanism delivers fast focusing, making it a perfect telephoto zoom choice for photographing sports, racing, or other fast-moving subjects. The lens also boasts Tamron’s proprietary VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilization to assist in hand-held photography, not only at long focal length ranges where blurring is common, but also under low-lit conditions, dramatically enhancing photographic freedom. This comnbination of best in class image resolution, Ultrasonic Silent Drive and Vibration Compensation is a new achievement of Tamron technology, culminating in the production of a premium 70-300mm telephoto zoom lens.

Super Performance (SP) for Discriminating Shooters
Tamron SP (Super Performance) series is a line of ultra-high-performance lenses designed and manufactured to the exacting specifications demanded by professionals and others who require the highest possible image quality. In creating SP lenses Tamron’s optical designers put their foremost priority on achieving superior performance parameters – they are all designed to a higher standard with little regard for cost constraints. As a result, Tamron lenses bearing the SP designation feature impressive and innovative designs that have established an enviable reputation for excellence among those knowledgeable photographers that demand the very best.

A Full-Time Manual Focus Makes Fine Tuning Easy
All Tamron lenses have high auto focus precision and are designed to capture subjects easily and in almost any situation, yet sometimes a photographer wants to fine-tune and make adjustments on the fly. The integration of a full-time manual focus offers just that: instead of fumbling with switches, photographers can from auto-focus to manual-focus by simply adjusting the focus ring. This feature helps the lens produce impressive results even in telephoto situations where the depth of field is narrow.

Cleaner Crisper Images without Flare or Ghosting
The new BBAR (Broad-Band Anti-Reflection) reduce the lens reflection and dispersion that cause ghosting and flare. The coating enhances light transmission in both the short and long wavelength ranges, ensuring excellent performance in all photographic conditions. Additionally, internal surface coatings are applied to cemented surfaces of all lens elements to deliver sharp, high-contrast images and flawless color re-production.

Vibration Compensation (VC) Mechanism-Making Telephoto & Low Light a New Medium
The actuator and algorithms, developed in-house at Tamron, provide the power that gives VC (Vibration Compensation) it’s excellent tracking performance and smooth, stable viewfinder image. Tamron’s VC mechanism provides a three-coil system, whereby the three driving coils activate the shake-compensating VC lens groups electromagnetically via three steel balls. The VC lens elements are held in place only by contact with the steel balls, achieving smooth movement with little friction, helping to eliminate the blur from camera shakes for clean shots night or indoors, or in macro and telephoto situations, hand held has never been this easy.

Hiring a wedding photographer can be a frustrating task. The bride and her family want to find the greatest photographer available, but it is equally important to determine that the photographer will work well on an interpersonal level with the bride and groom. The wedding day can be stressful, and the photographer can, while capturing meaningful images, make sure that the bride does not have to worry about the photography process.

The following tips can help you in choosing a photographer:

1. Always make sure that the photographer is technically capable of composing photographs that will bring back your fond memories of the wedding while remaining timeless. Avoid those photographers who use contemporary trends as a mask or crutch to keep hidden basic photographic deficiencies. These will also make your photographs look dated as your children look at them years later.

2. Professional conduct of the photographer is required – you will want to be sure that the photographer takes his or her involvement in your wedding as seriously as you expect. This will include dress, being on time, and so on. You can find clues to this as you meet with potential photographers. True professionals will ALWAYS present themselves in that way – not just on your wedding day, but also as you meet to discuss options.

3. All sought after wedding photographers are happy in the ‘hustle’ of a standard wedding day. Avoid the photographer who is baffled when confronted with schedules that are changed at the last minute. This is – despite your best planning – something that you can likely count on as you are married; i.e. something will happen on that day that changes even the best layed plans. Your photographer must be able to ‘go with the flow.’

Photo: wickenden

4. <a href="http://astore.amazon.com/prowpatareeya-store-20"target="_self"rel="nofollow"title="Prowpatareeya Store" >Price is important, but remember the big picture. When you are asked about your wedding day thirty years after the fact, you will look to your photographs. When done right, the money is very well spent (particularly in comparison with some of the other typical expedintures of a wedding).

5. Interviewing the photographer is a time for you to determine that you can work well with the person. You will have already taken a look at the photographer’s work (online, presumably) so what you really want to find out in person is whether or not the photographer can conduct him or herself in a way that will satisfy you.

Follow these easy suggestions, and your selection of a wedding photographer can be a (somewhat more) simple process.

Printing Your Photos At Home – A Quick Guide

Home photo printing can be as good as the professional kind, and a lot cheaper. All you need are a good printer, good ink and printer cartridges and some basic knowledge to unleash your creativity. Your own photos are special, so the better your prints, the better they look.

Photo: bradleypjohnson

Home printing, as a matter of fact, can be a lot of fun. If you experiment with your photo software and graphic software, you can have a ball. The printing can give you fantastic photos you wouldn’t believe possible. Photography is a true art form, and if you’re prepared to do the composition, your prints will be <a href="http://astore.amazon.com/prowpatareeya-store-20"target="_self"rel="nofollow"title="Prowpatareeya Store" >priceless treasures.

Printing basics

Before you print anything, run a printer test. The main problems with prints are caused by minor glitches that your printer can fix easily. Check in particular the nozzle or toner tests. The ink and toner feed can be blocked or erratic, mainly through over or under usage. These are the things that cause those irritating imperfections, and they’re usually fixed completely by a quick maintenance procedure.

Make sure you’ve got enough ink or toner. Some printers will “compensate” for low colors by replacing them with another color, and the results can be horrendous. It’s best to do a full replacement of your cartridges before doing any major photo printing jobs on principle.

The dialog box can do most of the basic work for you. Start with “Properties”. Check out the print options, and check out the settings for the photo printing. “Best photo” according to the printer may or may not be your best option. If you’ve got Photo<a href="http://astore.amazon.com/prowpatareeya-store-20"target="_self"rel="nofollow"title="Prowpatareeya Store" >shop or advanced software like that, it’s more advanced and has more print control options.

Photo: everyplace

Run a test print to make sure you’re OK. After a test print, compare the image to the print:

Colors OK?

Lines OK?

Any low resolution on the print that’s not on the image?

You see why a test print is necessary: The problems with prints are very easy to spot, and one test will find all of them.

The printer usually isn’t the problem. Printers use CMYK or RGB color schemes, and sometimes the software doesn’t help. Check out the Advanced Print settings, and see what the color ratios are. These are pretty much self explanatory, and you’ll be able to fix the problems with relatively simple adjustments. In some cases just hitting “Default settings” will clear up the issues.

Paper and other media quality issues

Paper: The name brand photo paper is usually OK, but good quality treated card is often better. Photo shops usually have a good selection of different types of photo print media, and the heavier gauge treated card is solid and stable.

Special paper and types of media: There are some exotic, but excellent, types of paper which are brilliant for printing anything. Paper like hand made waxed paper is almost as well treated as photo paper, it’s very strong, and even prints text well. These types of media really do need to be tested, but the effects are incredible.

It’s all worth it when you get your own great photos!

Landscape photography is generally at the opposite end of the scale of depth of field, where the vast majority of landscape images require a very long depth of field. This is due to the fact that landscapes generally are trying emmulate an actual scene as we see it, and viewers are usually drawn into the image by its great depth of field.

Photo: Miek37

Depth of field is the limitation of perceived sharpness within a photographic image. The greater the depth of field, the more of the image from front to back that appears sharp. An image that is said to have a shallow depth of filed has a short and more specific depth of sharpness.

In photography, careful use of depth of field can be a very powerful tool indeed. It can force viewers to focus only upon that which is sharp, by utilizing a shallow depth of field. As our eyes are not comfortable in viewing unclear images, we then tend to look at the parts of an image that is sharp, and our gaze will then focus upon that part of the image, rendering the other unsharp parts of the image as blurry and not worthy of our attention. This use of a shallow depth of field is particularly well suited to portraiture. As long as the eyes are sharp, most other things can be forgiven if they aren’t pin sharp. People and animals tend to look at the eyes first, and so the eyes really need to be sharp in nearly all portraiture photography.

Landscape photography is generally at the opposite end of the scale of depth of field, where the vast majority of landscape images require a very long depth of field. This is due to the fact that landscapes generally are trying emmulate an actual scene as we see it, and viewers are usually drawn into the image by its great depth of field.

Depth of field is controlled in two ways. The most commonly used is by aperture control. The smaller the aperture (the larger the number ie. F22), the greater the depth of field. The larger the aperture, (the smaller the number like F2.8), the shallower the depth of field. The apertures inbetween have a depth of field is that is directly proportionate to the aperture selected along the scale. The second means of controlling depth of field is by using a camera or lens that enables the lens to be tilted forward or back. This enables the focusing plane of the lens to be more inclined to the plane of focus of the subject matter, and hence providing a much better depth of field without a change of aperture. It is one of the major reasons for using bellows type cameras, or tilt lenses. With such a camera or lens, one can have a huge level of control over depth of field at any aperture.

Photo: Simonds

Depth of field is also dictated by the focal length of the lens, and the camera format for which the lens is used. For instance, a wide angle lens always has a much greater depth of field than a telephoto lens. A very wide angled lens such as a 14mm lens has a depth of field so great that it almost doesn’t require focussing, wheras a 600mm telephoto lens has an extremely shallow depth of field, and unless focussed upon long distance subject matter, the depth of field will always be very limited indeed. On the other end of the scale are macro lenses, which are made to be able to focus very closely to objects. Once you start moving in and start focussing very closely, the depth of field again becomes extremely shallow indeed. The closer you get to the subject, the less the depth of field becomes, and in extreme close-ups just the slightest movement will cause the image to go out of focus entirely.

Digital Camera Bag – Excellent Camera Bags For Your Photography Needs

I wanted to take a moment to write and let you know just how pleased and happy I am with the work of digital camera bags. The digital camera bag is certainly something. I have come to take for granted. I am not sure I ever full appreciated its true value. However, on the other day I learned a good lesson about the importance of buying quality bags. So I decided to share my experiences about some camera bags I have owned for more than a year.

Photo: Eddy 1

About halfway to my destination, without much notice, it started raining, and I was unprepared, or so I thought. Fortunately, I remembered that the bag had a feature I never used before: an integrated all weather covers. The waterproof cover is tucked in a compartment sealed with Velcro. You do not even know it is there. In fact, when I first bought this bag, I did not know it had this feature until I read the pamphlet. The weather covers provided in these bags will provide maximum protection for my equipment. It has many features worthy of consideration when purchasing a bag for your digital camera. The following few lines will discuss about Lowepro camera bags, SLR camera bags.

The Lowepro camera bags are well padded bags with plenty of room for basic gear. While the wide design can create some issues in tight spaces, the bag is easily carried backpack style, or one shoulder. The large exterior pocket has plenty of room for extra memory cards, lens cloths and even fits a battery charger. The Lowepro bag is a good all purpose bags for most photographer needs. It is padded enough to prevent damage from bumping into trees as you hike, yet soft enough to be flexible necessary. The harness for the bag is adjustable, although some will find the lower chest strap very uncomfortable.

When it comes to photography style, it also matters for the type of SLR bag you need. If you are a casual photographer, you will only need a light weight and basic bag such as the one’s case logic may. If you travel a lot, a rugged SLR camera bag that can handle moisture, temperature extremes and a major beating is necessary. Size matters and you should ensure your camera and its accessories fit firmly inside the bag. Too much room means moving and rattling around, which is not good for any digital equipment.

Finally, please do not forget that all of these options are endless; protecting your digital camera is as good as investments as working with photography. Finally, there are some well established and experienced resellers of these bags are selling through online. For more information and details, please do not hesitate to visit their valuable website.

You aren’t a professional photographer, nor do you really aspire to become one. You are busy with your life, your career, and more, and the seemingly herculean task of truly learning all the intricate details of the various capabilities of your digital camera can be daunting.

Photo: Gerry Slabaugh

Fear not, as the process of capturing memorable and quality images is not beyond your reach, and attention to a few details will provide you with everything you need to CONSISTENTLY take good, dramatic family photos. (Consistency is key here, as even your Uncle Bob has taken at least one good photo. You need to be able to compose the best image on the fly, as your children are complaining about the heat and, by the way, where oh where are the bumper cars you promised.)

We can break this down in to three primary components. 1 – the things external to the camera and you; 2 – the camera and its mechanical capabilities; and 3 – you moving the camera around and finally hitting the button.

1. External Issues
Photography is ‘drawing with light,’ i.e., writing on the light sensitive bit of your camera (film, historically; digital sensor, currently). Thus, LIGHT is the most important element of photography. Without it, you are out of luck. So, unless you find yourself in the bowels of the Marianna Caves in North Florida, you will need to be paying attention at all times to the light present when thinking about taking a photograph.

Photographers will talk about ambient light, natural light, harsh light, strobe light, cigarette light… Well, maybe not that last one, but they will talk about light ad nauseum. You, on the other hand, can just witness the light. This takes a bit of practice, but pay attention to how the strong overhead noon sunlight is different than the 7:30pm light as you have a margarita in your hand. These changes in light will change your photograph very dramatically.

Also, keep in mind the subject (which is, presumably, also external to you and the camera). Sensitivity to the concerns of people (if they are in the photo) will be necessary to elicit any kind of real happy looks. Waiting to take the photo after encouraging the fight you are having with your spouse over the way you looked at that last waitress, and looked, and looked… is not a good idea. A suggestion that the family pose for a quick series of photos would best come as everyone is apparently getting along reasonably well.

2. Camera Mechanics
Your camera is really a marvelous little device, when you think about it. Current digital cameras cost surprisingly little, and yet can capture an image that you will cherish until your death bed. So it is important that you understand, at some basic level, the mechanisms at play here.

You will want to try to think about the relation between three different things:

a. Shutter speed. This is exactly what is sounds like – the shutter opens, lets in some light to ‘write’ on the sensor, then closes. Shutter speed is how long the thing is open. If it is open a long time, more light is let in, so you can take a photo in a darker area. However, if you move while it is open (or if the subject moves), you get BLUR.

b. Aperture. The opening in the lens of the camera can likely change size (on most cameras). The bigger the opening, the smaller the ‘f’ number. A small f-stop, like f 2.8, corresponds to a large opening, so more light is let it. An f 8 opening would be much smaller. BUT, this also influences the depth of field – the size of the plane that is in focus. Small f-stop, small depth of field, large opening. Take a picture of your spouses beautiful face at a close distance with a small f-stop, and take a look at the background of the resulting image. Blurry, right? You are supposed to call this bokeh. Don’t get it wrong again. Bokeh is typically an appealing result, particularly when you aren’t so interested in the detail of the background, but of the people present. However, if you are taking a photograph of a landscape, bokeh is, um… less desirable. Raise the f-stop.

c. ISO/Speed. You might remember this from your film days, if you had them. ISO 100 or 200 film was for sunny, bright days. ISO 400 was more indoors, ISO 800 was for darker venues, etc. ISO has become a more integral part of each individual photograph, since you can change it as you move through the day, from shot to shot. Many cameras can now shoot at ISO 3200 or more. Keep in mind, though, that the higher the ISO, you will typically find higher ‘noise’ (distracting grainy elements in your photo – a bad thing, usually).

Now go reread a, b, and c above. These three intermingle and a change to one might mean a suggested change to another, and so on. Play around with each setting, based on your camera’s capabilities. You will be blown away just by what you can accomplish by paying attention to mostly these three things.

3. Composition
With a look to the light, and with attention to the camera settings, you are set to compose the image (look through the view finder or watch your LCD screen) and click the shutter button. But wait, did you really want that oil rig sticking out of your daughters head, and do you find the plain blue sky important enough to give it a starring role in over half of the image?

The moral of the story? You can move your body and the camera to take the image you want. Careful thought to composition will, given the right light and camera settings, provide you with the perfect family photo.

Photo: jakesmome

Two things here – the rule of thirds can be very handy when building the image in the view finder. Take the display (what would be the photo when you hit the shutter button) and divide it like a tic-tac-toe board. The rule of thirds dictates that you will want to put something of importance on the spot where two lines cross, or at the very least on the lines themselves. This sounds a little arbitrary, but after a couple of thousand years of human artistic expression, adopting the rule of thirds is often a good idea. This isn’t an absolute necessity, but usually results in a better image.

Second, change the perspective of the photo by moving the location. Try looking at the same subject from as high as you can get, then get down on the ground a look at it from below, on each side as close as possible, or straight on from hundreds of feet back with the camera zoomed in, and so on. This will change the look and feel of the resulting image. (Plus you can make your subject laugh by rolling in the dirt next to the alligator tank, screaming at the top of your lungs, “Look happy. I said, look happy.”)

Wrap these three points together – external concerns, camera functions, and composition – and you will capture the perfect family photo. But only if you actually find the time to take the photos, so you will want to take the camera everywhere, as you never know when inspiration will strike.

Sizing Tips to Have Your Photos on Canvas

Sizing and display are always presentation issues in any living space. Canvas allows size, but it’s important to get the basic sizing right. There is a lot of flexibility in canvas sizing, and it’s worth exploring the possibilities. Canvas prints are very easy and straightforward to work with, so don’t worry about having to work with sizes.

Photo: Stuck in Customs

Sizing and presentation

The really good news for consumers is that there’s no guesswork with sizing and presentation in canvas printing. You can work with your space effectively, and better still, you have full design and style options. You can try different approaches, and work with different styles of presentation.

This is a fully digital medium, and you’re working with modern design capabilities. That makes a huge difference in quality of presentation, particularly if you’ve got a lot of <a href="http://astore.amazon.com/prowpatareeya-store-20"target="_self"rel="nofollow"title="Prowpatareeya Store" >priceless pictures you want to display. You really can display an entire series of photos, a collage or a special collection, on canvas, and it looks great.

Decor and preferences

Canvas print photos behave like canvas paintings, in terms of décor considerations. That means you can have them framed according to your décor requirements, and do a complete design profile for them. You can have different styles for every room in the house, or a basic all purpose design that goes with your style.

Please note that customization is one of the driving forces of Canvas prints, and it’s also one of the reasons canvas print photos are so popular. There’s not much that’s impossible with these prints, and you’ll always have viable choices for your presentation. If you need help, you’ll find your canvas printers are experts, and know how to handle space, quality and price options, too.

Checking out your options for canvas photos

If you’ve got some design ideas you want to explore, or are just looking for some guidance about what’s possible, it’s worth talking to the experts. They can take you through stages of design, picture quality, reproduction processes, and framing, as well as sizing.

This gives you a good working knowledge base, and also clarifies any issues you may have with specific situations related to your photos, like retouches, or other content issues. The professionals can also give you good working quotes, so your budget can feel at ease with your project.

Decisions and choices

Making a decision (or several) about photo presentation can be pretty difficult. You need to be sure you’re getting what you want, and that’s exactly what canvas printing technology allows you to do. For sizing, in particular, working with picture quality and enlargements can be a worry.

Photo: irrezolut

You’ll be pleased know custom sizes can cover all your needs. Canvas photo technology is also used for fine art reproductions, so quality isn’t going to be a problem at all. Canvas photo printing technology can work with ultra-fine lines, and achieve reproductions meeting the most demanding artistic standards. Canvas prints will give you what you want.

Photography is all about capturing light on a photographic emulsion or electronic sensor. And as such the lens and film or sensor, are the most important components affecting image quality. Now, lenses cover a huge area and can be quite technical when it comes to saying why one lens might be better than another. Plus there are lots of manufacturers of lenses, but Microglobe is a renowned quality that offers a list of lenses all at reasonable <a href="http://astore.amazon.com/prowpatareeya-store-20"target="_self"rel="nofollow"title="Prowpatareeya Store" >prices and superb performance. One of these products is Nikon 55-200mm F4-5.6 AF-S DX VR Lens which is the best choice for landscapes and other outdoor scenes, group shots and generally anything requiring strong perspective. In some situations, this wide-angle lens might be the only way to capture the entire scene without excluding an important element in the frame. Considered to be the pioneer of innovative camera technology, Nikon is constantly seeking ways to make it possible for photographers with any level of experience to get striking results.

Nikon 55-200mm F4-5.6 AF-S Lens Nikon’s Vibration Reduction function compensates for camera shake to produce sharper, clearer pictures in unsteady or poorly light conditions. Perhaps the most surprising aspect of the DX 55-200mm VR is its relatively low price – indeed it’s the most affordable Nikkor lens with Vibration Reduction and when coupled with the DX 18-55mm II lens, matches the coverage of the popular DX 18-200mm VR at a much lower price. It is fully compatible with Digital SLR cameras. The build in quality is good and accompanies you for creative photography. It is a lightweight, adjustable lens; you will feel comfortable to fit it to desire cameras. No matter how far away the object is or at what speed the object is moving, you will have crystal clear, sharp images through auto and manual focusing controls. As specified in the lens name, the lens uses an internal focusing design so the size of the lens remains constant during focusing and the front element does not rotate. Nikon 55-200mm F4-5.6 Lens features a Silent Wave Motor (SWM) that offers smooth and quite auto focus performance.

According to Nikon the “Vibration Reduction (VR) offers the equivalent of shutter speeds 3 stops faster for more flexible hand-held shooting”. There are seven optical blades embedded in rounded diaphragm that give natural view to out of focus objects. You can have close-up photography of far away objects at minimum distance of 1.1m. Being a Telephoto lens, it is perfect for portraits. Compared to a 50mm lens it isolates the subject from the background more and the increased focal length slightly flattens the image and gives more a natural and flattering perspective. It always ensure you accurate colour balance and high resolution, results with maximum magnification of .43x.
