People And Candid Gallery
Candid photography is by definition taking pictures of people as un-posed and unplanned, immediate and unobtrusive. Part of the fun in photography is catching your human subject’s off guard so that your pictures have more emotion. This is in contrast to classic photography, which includes aspects such as carefully staged portrait photography, landscape photography or object photography.
Candid photography catches moments of life from immersion in it. Shooting candid shots may appear easy although there are few techniques in the photography world that will make the candid shot worth more than just a snap shot of people. People photographed on candid shots either ignore or accept the close presence of the photographer’s camera without posing. Candid photography’s setup includes a photographer who is there with the “subjects” to be photographed, close and not hidden.
